Our beloved Mother. Grandma, Great-Grandma and friend, Donna L. Ferguson went home on Monday, August 12, 2013. Donna was born in Nampa, Idaho on August 28, 1944. Donna is the cherished daughter of Irvin and Blanche Swanson. After high school she went to beauty school after which she owned her own beauty salon for over 23 years. She then went to work for Micron Technology where she retired after 20 years. She was never able to stay still for long, so she found a part-time job at Jordans Hallmark where she worked for 5 years. Donna loved to work in her home and yard where she created a peaceful, calming environment. Her favorite part of the day was when the sun was shinning and she could sit on her patio and enjoy her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her daughter Dana Mather, daughter Cynthia Ferguson-Harrod (Lloyd). She has five grandchildren, Anthony Rielly, Amanda Degollado (Adam), Andrew Harrod, Alex Hood and Gabriel Mather. She has one great grandson, AJ Rielly. Donna is also survived by an amazing group of people that she held dear to her heart. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, (Today), Aug. 14, 2013 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A private family burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
