Dora Alicia Bautista entered into Heaven Sunday the 23rd of October, 2016. Dora was born on February 8th, 1970 in San Marcos Ranch, Texas. She was the daughter of Rogelio Bautista and Josefina Morales. She graduated from Zapata High School in 1988 In 1988, she met and married Hector Zavala and in this union they were blessed with three children, Hector Miguel Zavala, Jr. (28), Alex Zavala (24), and Elizabeth Zavala (17). Then in 2008, she met the love of her life and best friend, David Reyes, and she gained another daughter, Maydelin Reyes (12). She also gained three gorgeous grandchildren, Evan Navell Zavala, Aaliyah Zavala and Mia Zavala. She then went on to be a head start teacher at De Colores for many years. She enjoyed the company of each child and the bond she shared with all the children and coworkers. Dora loved spending time with her family and making memories. She was a jokester and always found a way to make everyone laugh. She was a happy soul til the end. She is also survived by her parents, Rogelio and Josefina; brothers Jesus (Caty), Jaime (Leti), Gabriel (Dulce), Juan Bautista; and sisters Elsa (Javier) and Maricela. A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. She will be buried in the Zapata County Cemetery in Zapata, Texas
