Doris Elizabeth Green Evans May 19, 1931 June 20, 2013 Doris Elizabeth Green Evans, 82, of Nampa, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at her home. Doris was born on May 19, 1931 in Augusta, Georgia to Arthur and Hattie Ruth Green. She married Keven K. Evans on January of 1949 and they had four children, Carole, Gene, Linda and Rick. Doris enjoyed working in the garden, making flower arrangements, canning fruits and vegetables and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Hattie Ruth; her sister, Eva; her brother Bill; and her daughter Linda who passed away on Jan. 2, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Keven K. Evans; her children, Carole Prescott, Gene Evans; Rick and Pam Evans; a sister, Ann Knack; sister in law, Doris Green; and 11 grandchildren, Christina, Shawn, Deanna, Will, Richie, Mike, Dallas, Pat, Katie Jo, Kris and Jennifer; and her 16 great grandchildren, Skylar, Tabatha, Jacob, Alex, Randon, Gus, McKensie, Keven, Kayla, Austin, Andrea, Jack, Mikali, Jaide, Alea and Mason. Great love is sent to Sandi Fisher and a special thanks is given to the St. Alphonsus Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. A viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. An online guest book may be signed at www.nampafuneralhome.com
