Doris M. Weaver, 89 of Nampa passed away at Alexander Place in Caldwell on April 9, 2017. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 15, 2017 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So., Nampa. An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com Doris was born on January 15, 1928 at Drumheller, Alberta, Canada, one of nine children born to Clarence Edward and Wilsie Madge (Wilson) Weaver. She attended grade school in Alberta, Canada, and finished high school in Nampa, class of 1947. She went on to nursing school with her sister Margaret at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon, graduating in 1952. Doris worked as a Registered Nurse at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, then as a Doctors office nurse and finally at Mercy Hospital where she retired. She worked with a giving heart and a generous spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin siblings David and Mary as infants, a brother Dennis, a sister Margaret and a sister Jean. Doris is survived and will be greatly missed by 3 sisters, Norma Massey, Della Winther and Leslie McCoy; 12 nieces and nephews; 38 great nieces and nephews; 32 great-great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great-great niece.
