Dorothy Arleen Olson Dorothy Arleen Olson passed away June 16, 2014 at 91 years old. She was born September 5, 1923 on a farm to Arthur Henry and Emma Richter at Madison, South Dakota. She graduated from General Beadle High School in Madison South Dakota in December 1941. She was saved and baptized at West Center Baptist Church in Madison South Dakota. On September 5, 1942 at Pipestone Minnesota she married Vernon Virgil Olson. In December 1943, they moved to a farm on Ridgewood at Nampa, Idaho. Then in September 1946 they moved to Nampa, Idaho. She worked for miscellaneous places: Montgomery Ward, Brookovers and Northrup King all in Nampa, Idaho. Survivors include Sharon Coates of Nampa, Idaho, Connie (Mike) Bledsoe of Nampa, Idaho. 3 Granddaughters: Shelly Frisbie, Tina Shull and Angie Zirschky. 2 Great grandsons: Dakota Coates and Hunter Shull. She was preceded in death by her husband Vern Olson, her parents and 2 brothers.
