Edgar "Ed" Presley Lambert, 76, a long time Caldwell resident, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 in his home Ed was preceded in death by his parents, William Sherman Lambert and Oleta (Yelton) Lambert; a brother James; and a son, James Bradley Lambert. Ed was born on August 21, 1940 in Monterey Park, California. He was married to his wife Sharon Johnson on August 22, 1968 and they celebrated 48 years of marriage. Ed worked in sales for many years and was co-owner with his son, Wade of Lambert Construction for much of his life. Ed had many interests throughout his life. He loved football, motorcycles, old cars and golf. He had a love of and for people. He was kind, loyal and a good sport who enjoyed life and treasured his family and friends. Ed is survived by his wife, Sharon; and his children, Angela Andante, his sons, Wade and Theron Lambert; daughters in law, Lori, Cheryl and Patricia; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Elks Lodge in Caldwell, 1015 N. Kimball Ave., Caldwell.
