Edith C. Zamora Irigoyen, 79, of Nampa died Monday June 3, 2013 at her home. Edith was born February 2, 1934, in Bernalillo, New Mexico to Juan and Senona Zamora. She has three surviving sisters, Pauline, Helen, and Sherrie, and two surviving brothers Richard and Steve. She grew up in various cities in New Mexico. She married Ed Irigoyen in 1953 and had three children, Anthony, Renee, and Christine. She raised her family in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to Nampa, Idaho in 2005. She has always had a strong faith as a devout Christian and has been very active in her church. Edith is loved by many because of her extraordinary loving heart and gentle spirit. Edith is survived by her husband of 59 years, her children, five grandchildren, Megan, Chelsie, Zachary, Elora, and Michelle, and a special godson Steve. A viewing will be held on Thursday June 6, 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. with recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. Friday June 7, 2013 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Nampa. Burial will follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
