Obituary

Elisa 'Alice' Nieto

January 12, 1932 April 29, 2013 Elisa 'Alice' Nieto, 81, answered the Lords call and returned home to heaven rejoining her beloved husband and son. Our loving mother with a beautiful spirit entered into peaceful rest at her home on April 29, 2013 of natural causes.

Surely goodness and love will follow me

All the days of my life.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 23:6 She was born and raised in Karnes City, Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, Manuel M. Nieto, on December 22, 1947. Their union blessed them with 9 children. They relocated their family to Nampa, Idaho, arriving on July 4, 1967, where they have since made their home. They would have been married 50 years before the Lord called his faithful servant and her loving husband home in 1997. There hasnt been a night since that fateful day that Mom didnt dream of Dad, always around his children at work or rest or play. With that sparkle in his eyes and his teasing way saying dont worry "viejita" Ill come for you one day. Once again they are together watching over all of us, quietly assuring us that we too will rejoin them again one day.

A wife of noble character who can find?

She is of worth far more than rubies.

Her husband has full confidence in her

And lacks nothing of value.

She brings him good, not harm.

All the days of her life.

She sets about her work vigorously;

Her arms are strong for her tasks.

She is clothed with strength and dignity;

She can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom,

And faithful instruction is on her tongue.

Her children arise and call her blessed;

Her husband also, and he praises her:

"Many women do noble things,

But you surpass them all."

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

But a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Proverbs 31:10-12, 17, 25-26, 28-30 Elisa is survived by 8 children: 3 sons and a daughter-in-law: Servando and Sam Nieto Sr. of Nampa, Robert and Yolanda Nieto, of West Liberty, Iowa. 5 daughters and 4 son-in-laws: Yolanda and Jesus Contreras, of Nampa, Martha and John Mora, of Nampa, Hope and Joe Garcia, of Houston, Texas, Mary Jane Schmidt, of Nampa, and Helen and Jerry Dalton, of Nampa. A sister and 2 brothers: Barbara Morales of San Antonio, Texas, Jesus Gonzales of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joe Gonzales of Nampa. 26 Grandchildren, 42 Great-grandchildren, 17 Great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

Jesus said, "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again

And you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."

John 16:22 She has joined her husband and a son in heaven; along with 3 brothers and her parents.

With broken hearts and wounded souls we pray.

Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

Luke 7:50
