Emet Conrad Parrish, 42 of Nampa, ID passed away on October 27, 2015 Emet was born on December 12, 1972 in Madison, WI to Conrad & Pam Parrish. He was raised in Wisconsin by Conrad & Janice Parrish along with his sister Debbie Peterson and step brothers Ron, Todd, & Tracy Sole. Emet relocated to Idaho in 1994 to pursue his cheese making career, as well as his love for the great outdoors. Idaho was the perfect venue for his passion of duck hunting and fishing. While in Idaho he developed many close relationships which he maintained throughout the years. He was a devoted employee at Lactalis for 25 years. Along with being an essential part of the Lactalis team, Emet was a teacher and mentor for those hungry with cheese making questions. With too many accomplishments to list, his family is most proud of his Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in world cheese making championships. Emet completed his family when he married the love of his life, Misty along with her son, Zeb. Emet is preceded in death by his Mother Pam McQueen Parrish, Grandfather Theron Parrish, Grandfather Durwood, Grandmother Dorothy McQueen, and Niece Hilary Louis. Emet is survived by his wife Misty Parrish; Step-Son Zebadiah; and his faithful companion, Gus; as well as his Father and Step Mother Conrad and Janice Parrish; "Granny" Evelyn Parrish; Sister Debbie and Jay Peterson; Nephews Justin Lewis, Clayton Lewis, and Robert Peterson; Step-Brothers Todd Sole, Ron Sole and Wendy, and Tracy and Pam Sole; as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins of the Parrish Family; Father-in-Law Monte Hickman; and Niece Ruby Hickman; as well as other extended family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 2:00pm, at Birch Elementary School in Nampa. A reception will follow the service, and will run until 6:00pm.
