Evon Iva "Bonnie" Madariaga, 84, of Jordan Valley, Oregon passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Evon was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 15, 1932 to parents Minnie and Larry Oliver. The family moved to Jordan Valley where she met and married Richard Madariaga. She spent the rest of her life in Jordan Valley working at the JV Caf. But her true joy in life came from crocheting everything from Doilys to stuffed animals to slippers and hats that she would sell early in life, but later on make for friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; Son Richard Madariaga; Daughter Shelia Madariaga, and Sister Evelyn. She is survived by her Husband Richard; Daughters Debi (Roger) Timmons of Nampa, ID; Jeanette Lopez of Middleton, ID; 19 Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday October 13, 2016 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Jordan Valley, OR, followed by burial in the Jordan Valley Cemetery.
