Floyd Lydum Obituary Neil Floyd Lydum, 86, of Nampa, passed to Glory on January 20, 2023 in Meridian, ID. His Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Eagle Christian Church, 100 S Short Road, Eagle, ID. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. 208-442-8171 where an online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com Floyd, the fourth child of six, was born in Shelly, ID, April 4, 1936, to Neil and Una Lydum. Floyd and his siblings were the 3rd generation of Cederbergs and Lydums to be reared on the Lydum farm in Firth, ID. He graduated from high school in Firth and earned a master's degree in agriculture from the University of Idaho. Floyd worked in agriculture in both Idaho and Washington, and he became a licensed business realtor in Sacramento, CA, where he retired. Floyd was a hard worker who could fix and grow about anything. He was kind and compassionate, always taking into consideration the needs of those around him. He especially loved and cared for Dee. He always enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren: mentoring, fishing, camping, and kayaking with them. He and Dee definitely enjoyed their retirement yearswhether at home gardening or traveling in their RV. Their lawn and garden was a showplace, and their RV travels took them across the beautiful US of A. Floyd was an avid photographer and 'birder.' Their RV trips found them "birding" and capturing beautiful photos from north to south and east to west. In later years as it became difficult for Floyd to get the "steady" shot, he taught Dee to use the camera, and they continued RVing and birding together. Floyd loved visiting and he loved Jesus; and he was a natural at combining and sharing both. We will always remember his smile, his kindness, the way he loved Dee and his family, and his love for Jesus, his loving and faithful Savior. He is survived by his wife Dee of nearly 40 years; five children: Jan (Paul) Davison, Joanie Williams, Michael (Alice) Stam, Angie (Mike) Wilmot, Stephanie Pendley; thirteen grandchildren: Chandra, Kelsie, Seth, Kailee, Larissa, Brennen, Andrew, Whitnie, Hannah, Hailey, Elizabeth, Stephen, Lea; and ten great grandchildren all loves of his life; and 4 siblings: Fred (Delores) Lydum, Verlee Leonard, Doreen Smith, Ann Peterson. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Neil and Una Lydum and his sister Irene Renfrow. Donations in Floyd's memory may be made to the Boise Rescue Mission, P.O.
