Frances Dalgetty Obituary Frances Teresa Dalgetty, 93, Nampa, passed away peacefully at Ashley Manor on Tuesday November 28, 2023 with her family by her side. Frances was born on April 30, 1930 in Deertrail, Colorado. She was one of eight children born to Dean and Elizabeth Hahn. She treasured growing up in a large family. Frances married the love of her life, James Dalgetty, on August 10, 1951. Jim and Frances were blessed with 6 children. After raising her own children Frances opened a daycare in her home where she enriched countless young lives and was known as "Grandma Francie". In their golden years Frances and Jim enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending many hours with their family and friends. Frances was a very active member of her church and loved serving her church community. Frances was able to share her love of quilting with the quilt ladies group. They gifted many quilts to those in need. She also loved being a Sunday morning services greeter and visiting homebound parishioners. Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim; her parents and siblings. Frances is survived by her children Roy (Nampa) Dave & Bridget (Riggins) Teresa & Dave (Cascade), Sandra (Nampa), Brian and Shammy (Nampa), Patty & Mike (Caldwell), 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice and Ashley Manor for the excellent care mom received during the last few months of her life. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on December 9th at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, 404 Nectarine St. in Nampa followed by a dinner for family and friends.
