Frank H. Cook, 72, of Nampa, Idaho went to be with his Savior and Lord on April 22, 2013 with family at his side. Frank was born on August 3, 1940 to Harold and Deniece Cook in American Fork, Utah. Before marrying, Evelyn Valdez, Frank had been previously married and they had three children. Frank and Evelyn were married 38 and a half years, together raising Evelyns three children. In 1979, Frank accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. From that point forward he served the Lord faithfully. Frank had a love for the outdoors.He enjoyed fishing, hunting and prospecting. When Frank retired from the mines in his beautiful Nevada they relocated to Idaho. Frank is survived by his wife, Evelyn, his siblings all from Utah; Colleen (Doug) Bair, Lynn (Jule) Cook, Mary Kay (Chris) Bean, Kim (Carolee) Cook, his children; Kellie (Tony) Gurney, Texas, Dayne (Tiffany) Cox, Nevada, Jerry (Lisa) Cook, Utah, Penny (Bruce) Wilson, Nevada, Art (Lissa) Cox, Utah, Ryan (Tamara) Cook, Arizona, nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him. A viewing will be Friday, April 26, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. 9:30 p.m. at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel with a graveside service to follow at the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
