Gabrielle Leeann Smith, 51, of Nampa, Idaho, gained her heavenly wings on October 9, 2025. Gabrielle was the first born to Ronald Lee Smith and Linda Mae (Pon) Jeanes. She was born on February 24, 1974, in Nampa, Idaho. Her family and friends simply knew her as "Gabe".

Gabe is survived by her parents, Ronald L. Smith and his wife Cristina, and Linda M. (Pon) Jeanes and stepfather Jim Jeanes. Her brother, Jeramiah Smith and his wife Heather Coon; and her sister, Rebecca Smith, and her beloved nieces, Madison, HaLeigh, Ava, and nephew, DJ. Gabe loved these kids more than anything and always bragged about them any chance she got.

Gabe moved to Florida, for a number of years, to take care of her Granny Smith. She took pride in being able to help her grandma at the end of her life. After she passed away, Gabe returned to Nampa, Idaho. She worked at her family's restaurant, Hong Kong, in Nampa on and off throughout her life. Gabe most recently was working as a care giver at a Home Health Facility, which she enjoyed very much.

Gabe loved to travel and her favorite place to be was Hawaii. She also loved to take road trips. Her last road trip was in 2022 to Washington to visit her cousins. Her niece HaLeigh was able to go with her on this trip where they made many special memories together.

Gabe was a big lover of animals. They were drawn to her. She owned many dogs, cats, and fish throughout her life, and specifically loved Yorkies. Gabe had a green thumb and would get very excited to show friends who came to her house how big her plants were getting. Then she would quickly offer to cut off a "start" for them to take home to grow a plant of their own.

We are going to have a noticeable void in our lives with the loss of our daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, but something that will be significantly missed is that she had her own special way of making everyone feel seen and cared for. She never forgot a birthday or holiday and always made sure she would send a text or call to celebrate these special occasions.
