Gary was born on November 19, 1946, in Lebanon, Oregon, to Lorin and Eunice Kruger. He grew up alongside his siblings, Larry and Connie, forming lifelong family bonds rooted in love and hard work.

After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, Gary built a life defined by dedication, family, and quiet strength. He married Angie, and later Joan sharing many meaningful years of companionship. He was an avid sports enthusiast who loved coaching and mentoring others. He also enjoyed racing and spending time at the track, where his competitive spirit and enthusiasm shone through.

Gary's greatest joy came from his family. His children survive him- Eric, Tina, Geremi, Jolynn, and Jason. He is proceeded in death by his brother Larry, who passed away in 2020.

A memorial service to honor Gary's life will be held on October 20,2025, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, in Nampa, Idaho.

Interment will take place at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho.
