Gene Corkey McCreery, 82, of Nampa, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday November 30, 2014, having passed away at a local care center in Nampa. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Friday December 19, 2014 at the Genesis Venue Building (Crossroads Community Church campus) 4286 E. Amity Ave. Nampa, Idaho 83687 at 6:30 pm. Military honors will be provided by personnel from the Idaho Army National Guard. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. 442-8171. He was loved by many and will truly be missed. He sincerely loved each of his family members and enjoyed the times that he had to spend with each of them. Corkey is survived by 2 daughters, Melanie (Jeff) Seward and Melinda (Bill) Gill, 5 grandchildren, Justin (Elizabeth) Seward, Joshua Seward, Madison Seward, John Cain, and Marissa (Jeff) Bentley, 3 great-grandchildren, Aukila, Araya, and Saidey, 2 sisters, Lavaughn Kent and Geri Harding, and his numerous nieces and nephews. We especially want to thank the staff at Kindred Nursing and Rehab Care Center for the loving care that they provided for our Daddy, Grandpa and friend.
