Geneva Post Obituary Geneva B. Post, 85, loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother peacefully went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2022. Geneva was born August 1, 1936, to William and Anna Lola Ethridge in Exeter, Missouri. Her family moved to Kuna in 1952. She married Melvyn J. Post on November 14, 1953, at his parents home in Kuna, sharing their lives together for 46 years before Melvyns passing. They were blessed with three children, Royce, Randy, and daughter Jody. Geneva thrived in her banking career, working for West One Bank in Kuna and later in Meridian for over 30 years until her retirement. Geneva was an avid bear and doll collector and was in love with everything Victorian. She enjoyed decorating, going to doll shows with her sisters, and constantly being engaged in home projects. She loved camping with her family and riding motorcycles with Melvyn. They were members of the Kaveman Travelers. She attended Ten Mile Community Church for many years and enjoyed her Bible study group led by Evelyn Legg for 16 years. One of the greatest blessings was the special friendships that came from the Bible study group. Geneva was very grateful for the kind, compassionate ladies that were always there to share conversations and encourage her. They held a very special place in her heart.
Geneva is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Royce and Jolyn Post of Nampa, Randy Post of Kuna, and Jody and Bill Nay of Apple Valley, CA. She is also survived by her wonderful sisters, Violet, Bernice, Anita and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Melvin and Anna Lola; husband, Melvyn; five brothers, Billy, Joe, William, Marvin, and John; sister, Joyce; daughter-in-law, Julie; grandson, Andrew, and granddaughter, Amanda.
Our family would like to extend grateful appreciation to the administration and nursing staff at Sunny Ridge for their professional and loving care of Geneva over the past 7 years.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Geneva to Ten Mile Community Church, 4440 East Columbia Rd. Meridian, ID 83642.
