George Ernest Arsenault, 80, of Nampa, Idaho left us peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Nampa. He was born on March 21, 1931 to Christopher and Anita Arsenault in Gardner, Massachusetts. He was the eldest of four children and is survived by his siblings, Bob, Doris Fleck and Paul. George entered the U.S. Army on September 16, 1952 and he proudly served his country and did tours of duty in both Korea and Vietnam. George was honorably discharged on Aug. 1, 1973.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jitsuko. Together they had 4 children, Allen (Melody), Anita Apostol (Romy), Joyce and Alex (Patricia). He had the pleasure of having six grandchildren, Anthony, Jason, Shawn, Nicole, Christopher and Brianne and seven great grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Eli, Issac, Ashlyn, Aleia and Kira.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So., Nampa, Idaho 83651. A private family burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
