George Frederickson Obituary George Frederick Frederickson May 10, 1937 - January 18, 2019. George Frederick Frederickson, 81, of Nampa, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at home of natural causes. Born May 10, 1937 in St. Paul, Minnesota, George was the oldest of six. He graduated from Grantsburg High School in Grantsburg, Wisconsin in 1955. He joined the Air Force after graduating. He married Diane Gorecki in 1963 and they had a daughter and two sons. He started working for Armour Meat in St. Paul, Minnesota and then moved to Idaho in 1978 when he transferred to Armour Meat in Nampa, Idaho, and then worked for the state of Idaho until retiring in 1999. George was a true outdoorsman. He loved camping, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was an avid boater and served his community as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 32 years. George was an active member of the Nampa Rec Center for 24 years since its opening in 1994. George was a loving husband to his wife, Diane, of 55 years. He was a wonderful father, a proud grandfather, and a friend to his neighbors and community. He is preceded in death by his father Elton, mother Shirley, and brother Jay. He is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Kelly, sons John (Jenny), and Hank (Dawn) and eight grandchildren Jessica (Reese), Chris, Megan, Gabe, Abby, Rachel, Anthony, and Zach.
