On November 13th, Gilbert "Gib" McNeil Sinclair, 90, went to be with his Savior. Gib was born in Seiling, Oklahoma on April 30th, 1935, to parents Emmitt and Verda Sinclair. Gib had one brother, Bob, and two sisters, Joy and Linda June.

Gib attended Nampa High School and after graduation he joined the Air National Guard where he worked for 35 years. Some of Gib's deployments were Alaska (several times) and Norway.

Gib loved flying and for a time he flew his own aircraft. Some of his hobbies were woodworking, reading, and making many things. He was able to travel across the United States. He was a member of the Whitney Friends Church for 69 years, a man of faith who loved God and Country. He was married to the love of his life, Donna for 69 years. They had 2 sons, Terry and Tim. He was proud of his sons and his entire family.

Gib is survived by his wife, Donna (Pidge) Sinclair, sons Terry M. Sinclair of Nampa, ID, and Tim L. Sinclair (wife Ginger) of North Carolina, four grandchildren, Stephanie Sinclair of Redmond, WA, Eric Sinclair (wife Felicia) of Danville, AL, Ryan Sinclair of Mead, WA, Mackenzie Sinclair of Tampa, FL, four great grandchildren, Scarlett, Ainsley, Rory and James, Sister Joy Hays (husband Richard) of Sublimity, OR, and sister Linda June Frizzell of Nampa, ID. Gib has many nieces and nephews, brother and sister in-laws, Jack and Caroline Chaney of Caldwell, ID, Carl and Carol Budell of Nampa, ID, Kathy and Neil Kestler of Grass Valley, CA, and Kim Chaney of Bakersfield, CA. As well as many friends down through the years, church family and friends, and great neighbors.

Gib is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Verda Sinclair, brother Bob Sinclair and Bob's wife Chris.

Services will be held on December 6, 2025, at 10:00 am at Nampa Funeral Home, 415 12th Ave South, Nampa, ID.
