Gilberte (Gill) Wright of Nampa, ID died March 31,2017 at a Nampa Care Facility, Gill was born October 10, 1925 in Algiers, North Africa. Daughter of Jules-Henry & Marguerite Gaudey. In 1943 she met the love of her life Olen while he was serving in the Army overseas. In 1947 she came to the United States and they were married on March 17th 1947 and raised 3 children. She worked for several years for the Nampa School hot lunch program. After retirement, she volunteered at Mountain States Tumor Institute and worked for the Elections. She never met a stranger. She loved to knit in her spare time and she enjoyed her monthly get togethers with her French Club and railroad friends. Mom and Dad made sure us kids were raised in a loving family. They worked side jobs to make sure we could go on family vacations. She is survived by two daughters & son-in-laws. Shirley & Bill Robinson, June & Jerry Shroll and a son Alan Wright, and a sister Louise in France. Four grandchildren & Spouses Michael & Holly Shroll, Michelle & Ricky Robinson, Whitney & Brian Warbis, Drew & Katey Wright. Eight great grandchildren Alec, Kyler, Haley, Gabriel, Angelina, Noelle, Tuff & Brooks. And many nieces & nephews here and in France. Gill was loved by so many & will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Olen, her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The family would like to thank the staff at Streamside Assisted Living and the staff from Encompass Hospice for the loving care they gave our mother. Memorials may be given to a favorite charity or flower may be sent. A viewing and visitation will be held at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel for friends and family on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
