Ginger Scott Obituary Ginger R. (Carlson) Scott, 75, of Calwell, Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 21, 2024 in Nampa, Idaho.
On January 29, 1949 Ginger was born in Kimball, Nebraska to Gordon and Grace Carlson. The family moved to Idaho and settle in Wilder where Ginger attended Wilder schools until graduation.
Ginger was a youth minister for Saint Marys Catholic Church in Caldwell and worked for the Caldwell School District, the Idaho State School and Hospital, and Syringa House.
Helping others was something she strived for in her work and in life. Her family was very important to her and she loved getting together to enjoy each others company. Ginger loved doing all kinds of crafts and sewing Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren.
Ginger is survived by her children: Nivy Snow (David), Colby Scott, and Teresa Scott (Debbie Newman)., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Carlson; her mother, Grace Carlson; and her three brothers, Alan Carlson, Gordon Carlson, and John Carlson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 3rd from 4-7 pm at the Dille Center, 115 14th Ave South, Nampa, ID.
