Glenda Kinzler Obituary Glenda Sue Kinzler, 85, passed away peacefully in Nampa on March 20, 2025, just two days shy of her 86th birthday. Born in Haskell, TX, she overcame early hardships with resilience and faith, later excelling in school and pursuing her dream of attending Bethany Nazarene College (now Southern Nazarene University). Sue was a gifted pianist, an accomplished student, and a passionate educator. After graduating in 1961, she began teaching in Kansas, where she met the love of her life, Clarence "Clari" Kinzlera seminary student and pastor. Their love story, which began in secret, blossomed into 61 years of marriage and ministry. Always a team, they served congregations in Kansas, California, and Idaho before Clari became a district superintendent in Northern California. Sue worked alongside him while also raising their two children, Rebecca Fredrickson (Mark) and James Kinzler (Kyla). Perhaps the role Sue cherished most in life was that of 'grandma' to her five beloved grandchildren; Dayne, Ryder and Brody Fredrickson, and Cady and Thomas Kinzler. They, and many others, will remember Grandma Sue for her cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies, for the countless notes and cards that she sent, for her warm smile and her welcoming spirit. But most of all, Sue will be remembered for her faith in Jesus. It was the foundation of her life. She often expressed gratitude for her strong Christian heritage, her calling to serve, and expressions of Gods grace throughout her life journey. She and Clari retired in Temecula, CA, before settling in McCall, and then Nampa, ID. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and dedication to others will continue to inspire all who knew her. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Nampa College Church of the Nazarene, 504 E. Dewey Ave on April 14, 2025 at 11 AM under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So.
