Gonzalo Ramirez Obituary Gonzalo T. "Gonzie" Ramirez 1941-2020 Age 79 Gonzalo T. Ramirez, 79, of Nampa passed away on November 20, 2020, with his daughter by his side. Gonzalo was born on January 12, 1941, in San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico the son of Cipriano Ramirez and Elena Tallabas Ramirez. The family moved from Mexico in the 50's and went to Wyoming to live. From there they traveled to Idaho and settled. In 1961 he married Charlotte Herrera and had 2 Children (Alma and Jason). Dad loved hunting, fishing, playing poker with his brothers and watching his westerns on TV. Gonzalo is survived by his daughter Alma Chavez (John); Grandchildren Issac (Susan), Dion, Sara (Steve) and Adelinna; Great grandchildren Aiden and Augustine Chavez Duke; Siblings Larry (Maryann), Cipriano, Jesse, Richard (Barbara), Mary Ramirez, Ruth Castillo, Sally Lobato (Sammy) and Josie Flores (Robert). Gonzalo was preceded in death by his son Jason, parents Cipriano and Elena Ramirez and brother Albert Ramirez. A Graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Nampa on Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11am. Luncheon to be held following his service at Lakeview park. Time will be announced after his service.
