Grace (DeMots) Pickar, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Nampa, Idaho after an extended illness. Grace was born on October 16, 1934 on a farm near Gettysburg, South Dakota to John DeMots and Marie Vree. She was raised on the family farm and met her husband, Vincent Pickar, who was a farm hand on a neighboring farm. They were married on June 23, 1953. They lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before moving to Denver, Colorado where they raised their 3 children.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vincent, and sisters Ann and Louise. She is survived by 3 sisters, Janet Mehlhaff, Henrietta Bakker, and Sharon Slater, brother, John DeMots, her 3 children, John (Melanie) Pickar, Janelle (Jeff) Miller, and Jay (Joy) Pickar. She has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who loved her and will miss her.

Grace will be laid to rest in Denver with her husband at the Ft. Logan National cemetery.
