Gregory Wayne Weaver

Gregory Wayne Weaver passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, with his wife by his side, at St. Lukes Hospital in Nampa, Idaho. 

Greg was born to Ival & Nancy (Dalton) Weaver in Sevierville, TN on October 4th, 1970. Greg grew up in Salem, Missouri and graduated from high school there. Greg enjoyed FFA during his high school years and excelled at it. Greg enlisted in the United States Army, and served overseas, 1990-1994, in the Gulf War. 

After serving his country, Greg returned to ranching and farming with his family. Greg also loved construction and building homes. Greg worked with his dad, Ival & brothers Travis & Kevin at Weaver Construction, building homes across the country. In 2003, his son, Nathan Wayne Weaver was born in Vinita, OK. Later, Greg had his own construction business in Sheridan & Dayton, Wyoming. Greg always enjoyed the time he spent on the ranch with his dad over the years. 

In 2010, Greg met the love of his life, Dawnetta Rae Boston. They married on July 29th, 2011. Greg & Dawn made their home together in Dayton, WY until 2015. At that time, they moved onto a farm in Notus, Idaho near Dawn’s family. Greg worked construction and enjoyed their farm. Greg & Dawn now have a home in Sheridan WY but have spent a little over a year in Idaho during his illness.

 Greg is survived by his wife, Dawn, his son, Nathan of Garryowen Wyoming, his father Ival, also of Garryowen, Wyoming, brother Kevin & his wife Sarah, of Miami Oklahoma as well as their children; Jackson, Lucas & Nicholas and nephews, Dereck Roofe of Bloomington Indiana & Bryan Cummings of Sheridan Wyoming. 

Greg is proceeded in death by his loving mother, Nancy, his brother Travis Weaver and his nephew Cody Weaver.

A Celebration of Life will be at The Nampa Elks at 1116 1st St. South, Nampa ID on Friday, February 27th at 11am. A reception will follow. An additional service will be held at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan Wyoming at a later date.
