In loving memory of Harley Gene Forrey Sr., 81, of Kuna, who passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Harley was born Mar 12, 1931 to Albert Bascom and Pearl Forrey of Kuna, Idaho. Harley grew up and attended school in Kuna. He was a long time member of the Elks Lodge in Nampa, and the Lions in Kuna. He served on the Kuna Cemetery Board and served as Kuna Fire Commissioner in his earlier years. He married Florence Buchta in 1949. They had 4 children, Linda Hudson, Harley Jr. Forrey, Ron Forrey and Sandra (Forrey) Waters. He had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Harley and his brother Kenny worked farming the family land. Harley loved teasing people; he loved playing cards and going camping with the Good Sams Kaveman Travelers group and just being in the great outdoors. He will be deeply missed. Harley was preceded in death by his first wife Florence, his daughter Linda Hudson, son Ronald Forrey and his parents. He met and married Cora Lambie in 2001. He is survived by his wife Cora Forrey of Kuna, Idaho, son Harley Jr. Forrey of Pittsburg, California and his daughter Sandra (Forrey) Waters of Boise, Idaho. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 21st from 5 8 p.m. at the Nampa Funeral Chapel, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So., Nampa, Idaho. A funeral service will be held at the Kuna Community Center in Kuna, Friday, March 22nd at 10a.m. Burial will follow in the Kuna Cemetery. A potluck reception will be held back at the hall. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice.
