Herbert C. Sanders of Nampa, formerly of San Diego passed away Thursday February 28, 2013. Herb was the only child of Cylde and Virginia Sanders. Born July 1, 1969 in San Diego where he was raised and lived until joining the Navy at the age of 19. He received numerous awards and accommodations while serving his country as well as serving in the first gulf war. His dedication to country, family, and career were evident throughout his life as he often placed the needs of others before himself. Upon completion of his service in the Navy, Herb returned to the California area to live until moving to Idaho in 2008. In his professional life Herb worked for 20 years as an engineer in the manufacturing industry and quickly rose to management roles. He relocated to Idaho to work with his best friend of 24 years Brian Denny and served as Chief Operations Manager. Herb was a dedicated and loving spouse to his wife of eight years, Michelle Sanders. His proudest role was that of a father to his 23 year old daughter Aimee. Aimees current service to her country in the Army brought him great joy and pride. Herbs happiest moments were those he spent with the two women in his life. An avid outdoors man, Herb Enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, boating, dirt-biking, and golfing. He touched the lives of all he met and will be dearly missed. Herb is survived by his wife, Michelle, daughter Aimee, Mother Virginia, Best Friend/Brother Brian Denny, and countless other extended family members and close friends.
