Howard R. Perrigan, 87 of Nampa, died Monday August 12, 2013 at a local Care center. He was born Feb. 7, 1926 in Maldon, Missouri to Dan and Mable Perrigan. They moved to Venice, California where the family worked in the Defense Plant until Howard joined the Navy at age 18. Howard served on a cargo ship during the war. After his Naval service he married Wanda Coble and they moved to New Bridge, Oregon where they had three children. Howard drove a logging truck for 14 years then started his own construction business in California. The family moved to Nampa, Idaho where he worked for the Amalgamated Sugar Company for 10 years where he retired and lived the rest of his life with friends and family. Howard was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Mable, sisters, June and Helen Fay Perrigan, Maribel McIntyre, brother Steven Perrigan, son Joseph Perrigan and a great granddaughter Melissa Perrigan. He is survived by the mother of his children Wanda Perrigan, Daughter, Helen (Kenny) Wright Son, Vernon (Dee) Perrigan, brother Richard (Kathy) Perrigan, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. At His request private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.
