Ida L. Flowerdew Lammey Ida Lucille Flowerdew Lammey, 94, of Nampa, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at a Nampa care facility. She was born on August 23, 1918 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Charles Smith and Clara Pearsons Smith. She was raised in Nebraska where she married Kenneth Flowerdew. They worked their way across the U.S until they settled in Idaho in 1944. Ida worked as a stay at home mom until her husbands illness in 1960 when she worked for Alpine Dairy Bar for a short time. She then opened Flowerdews Chargers Daycare where she took care of children for 41 years until she retired. She loved salmon fishing and camping with family; writing poetry and letters; singing with her brother and quilt making where she sold quilts all over the United States. She is survived by her two daughters, Ida Karole Peterson of Meridian and Candys Ann Cowger of Wilder; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Kenneth Flowerdew and Pete Lammey; 4 siblings and 1 great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M.
