Jacinta 'Cindy' Dorsey, 65, of Nampa, Idaho passed away on July 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Cindy was born February 22, 1948 in Kensville, Texas. She married on March 7, 1970 to James Huie Dorsey. Cindy worked in the healthcare and welfare systems in Alameda, California. She also enjoyed doing in home hospice care and AIDS education; she then retired and moved to Nampa in 2002. Cindy enjoyed doing many things, all involved her grandchildren, their favorites were thrift store shopping, listening to music, watching movies, sleepovers, and we can't forget her cruising through town with all the kids in the car, windows down, and music blasting! She also loved going to auctions and cooking. She will always be remembered as a protector and a true fighter. She battled numerous health issues over the last 10 years, no matter what her condition her family was always her number one priority and she protected us all. So now she is finally pain free and looking down and continuing to protect us all. She was an amazing woman that will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Cindy is survived by her mother Guadalupe Hernandez, brothers Tommy and Teddy, sisters, Francis, Rachel, Janie, and Sulema, son's Jimmy, Joe, and Marc, step daughter Carol, daughters in laws Heather and Susie, and grandchildren Garrett, Chloe, Raelyn, Slade, Natalie, and Mandy, also numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Herman and loving husband Jim.
