Jacqueline Dines Obituary Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Dines passed away peacefully at her home in Marsing, Idaho on June 28, 2024, at the age of 80 years old. Jackie was born on April 24, 1944, in Caldwell, Idaho to the parents of George and Helen Jones. Jackie graduated in 1962 from Nampa High School. She married the love of her life George Dines on November 9th, 1963, they were married for 51 years at the time of Georges passing. George and Jackie had three children: Mike in October of 1965, Michelle "Babe" in October of 1967 and Mark in January of 1969. In 1965 they started living and working on various ranches all over the Owyhees and Eastern Oregon. Finally making their home in Marsing, Idaho in 1979. Jackie faithfully traveled with George to snaffle bit futurities and cow cutting competitions all over the northwest for many years. In 1996, Jackie started a job with Owyhee Lanes & Restaurant in Homedale, Idaho as a waitress for her friend Lynn Fry. During the years that she worked, she created everlasting friendships with her coworkers, farmers, and local families often known as "Grandma". After Jackie retired from Owyhee Lanes & Restaurant in 2016, you could find her at home making one of her famous desserts and a pot of coffee looking forward to her family and friends stopping by. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Jones, sister Georgie Lee Jones Proffitt, husband George Dines. Jackie is survived by her 3 children; Mike and wife Lilia Dines, Michelle "Babe" Archer, Mark and wife Kerry Dines. 8 grandchildren; Troy (Cara) Dines, Carey Dines, JaNae Archer, Cole Archer, Courtney Archer, Jayce Dines, Emmet Hibbs and Elias Hibbs. 3 Great Grandchildren; Rosie Dines, Brinley Dines and Leona Dines. Her sister Rose Jones King, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 20th at 10:00am at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel at 415 12th Ave South in Nampa Idaho.
