Jimmy Bridwell (James F. Bridwell, Jr.) was born on March 24, 1963 in Hawthorne, Nevada. He was the 2nd of four children born to James Sr. and Fontella R. Huddleston, their only son. On January 31, 2015 he passed away at his home in Nampa, Idaho.
In his lifetime he was able to overcome many obstacles and at the time of his departure was living a life that his family and friends were so proud of. He told many that he attended the School of Hard Knocks and indeed he did. He was an advocate of trying anything once twice if he enjoyed it. His sense of humor, quick wit and enormous heart will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. He was a true friend to many.
On May 7, 2009 Jimmy was blessed to be able to welcome into the world his Angel on Earth, Maddie Baker. Maddie was his joy. She taught him what it was to give and receive unconditional love. The pure love he had for Maddie is what he takes with him, and will always be with her. She will never know how much she meant to him.
Jimmy also had a very special person in his life, Kim Goodwin. She gave him so much happiness. He was suprised to have been given the chance to have someone like her in his life. He told us all, that she was not like anyone he had dated and was excited to introduce her to those he loved.
Jimmy was Maddies Jimmy, Our Brother, Kims Sweetheart and an amazing friend. He worked at Americold in Nampa, Idaho as a forklift operator. He was a mentor to many that he worked with; he had a way of making others feel important and loved. He used his life lessons and hard times as a conduit to help others. He never turned his back on anyone in need of help or just friendship.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his dad, Jim Sr. and his mom, Fontella as well as several other relatives.
He is survived by his Maddie Baker; sisters, Pam (Craig) Reynick, Becky (Mark) Neville and Kim (Nate) Wade; nephews Jeremy, Jacob and Eli; nieces Amber, Amye and Caitlyn; great nephews, Ostyn, Ayden and Ben; great nieces Hailey, Naela and Indianna; his Sweetheart Kim Goodwin; and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends
He was able to accomplish so much in his life because of the wonderful friends and supporters he was blessed with.
Rest our Brother. Ride fast and hard. Never good bye Jimmy, only see you soon.
