James "Jim" Howard Frazier, 79 of Nampa passed away Friday July 26, 2013 at a Nampa hospital of natural causes, Jim was born in Wayne Co., West Virginia February 14, 1934 to Tiza Dolan-Frazier and Wayne Martin Frazier, where Jim lived and worked until he was the age of 16 and the family moved to Detroit Michigan. Jim lived in Detroit until he enlisted in to the Air force on February 10, 1954, where he was stationed at Mt. Home Air force base until he received an Honorable discharge on October 28, 1957.
He met his wife of 57 years Ann L. Shapley at the Nampa Rollerdrome in 1956. Jim moved his family to Detroit, Michigan in 1957 where they lived until they moved back to Idaho in 1967, and Jim found his love of fishing and telling his many fish stories. Jim was a butcher for many years until gaining employment at the Amalgamated Sugar Company in Nampa until he retired after 17 years of services.
Jim is survived by his wife Ann, 2 sons Roy and Michael and 3 daughters Carol, Sarah and Tammy, a aister Mildred, 28 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, son Jimi and infant granddaughter Shawna.
Services will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel. Reception will be at Anns home at 504 N. Pit Lane, Nampa. Jims ashes will be interned at the Idaho Veterans cemetery in Eagle at a later date.
