James E. Zimmerman, 65, of Nampa, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. He was born in Lusk, WY on January 6, 1950 to Lawrence and Doris Zimmerman. In 1969, Jim married Brenda Zimmerman also of Lusk, WY. He and Brenda had been married 46 years at the time of his passing. He is survived by two sons, Cody (Karrie) Zimmerman of Cheyenne, WY and Brad (Chrissy) Zimmerman of Meridian, ID; six grandchildren, Brook Hance, Tanner Eslick, Terisa Zimmerman, Dalton Zimmerman, Cole Zimmerman, and Taylor Zimmerman; two great grandchildren John and Jeannette of Cheyenne WY, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Jim was a very strong man with a huge heart. All of his family and friends have been gifted with many lessons of love and friendship from Jim. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A celebration of his life will be held at his home in Nampa after the services.
