In Loving Memory of Janet Louise Hochstrasser Tijerina, 60 years old, departed June 19, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho of natural causes at home.

Janet was born December 4, 1964, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to Kenneth and Ruth Grahm in Mountain Home, Idaho. When she was ten years old, she was adopted by Gerald W. Hochstrasser. She lived with her parents, Ruth and Jerry in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, Sparks, Nevada, and Boise, Idaho.

Janet graduated from Boise High School, Boise, Idaho. She attended medical transcription school where she was an honor student with a 4.0 GPA. Janet was employed by the Boise Art Museum in 1979-1980. For fifteen years she was manager of the floral department Michaels Hobby Craft. She has a passion for being a floral artist.

Jan was a devoted wife to Gilbert Tijerina, a loving mother to Anthony Tijerina, and a true friend to many. She loved unconditionally and gave her love freely to those around her. It was the kind of love that stayed with you, strong, steady, and sincere.

Jan brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone she met. Her warmth, joy, and creativity touched countless hearts. Not just through her presence, but through the beauty she created. A gifted florist, Jan found deep joy in her work. Her flower arrangements weren't just bouquets, they were expressions of care, love, and her soul. She loved being creative and was proud to share her talents by teaching others the art of floral design. Whether she was arranging flowers, dancing to her favorite song, or sharing a laugh, Jan lived with passion and purpose.

Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Hochstrasser, father, Kenneth Graham and her brothers Philip N. Graham, Michael D. Hochstrasser, and Kirt G. Hochstrasser.

Janet is survived by her beloved husband, Gilbert Tijerina; her beloved son, Anthony Tijerina; Her loving father, Jerry Hochstrasser; Loving Sisters, Christin Shultz, Eve Plant, Patricia Berry, Geri Lou Alejandro, and Teri Hochstrasser; and her loving brother, Kent Hochstrasser.
