Janice Antoinette Carr, 76, of Nampa, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 in a Boise hospital. She was born in LeMars, Iowa on November 23, 1934 to Jerrald and Vera Koerner. She attended Mercy Nursing School. She worked in the health care field for 65 years retiring from R & V Shelter Home where Jan worked with and cared for the developmentally disabled adults, even taking a group of 24 residents to Disneyland. After retirement Jan was very active with the Catholic Church, volunteering for the St. Vincent De Paul Society with her good friends Jim and Noreen Daniels. Jan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a brother and sister, Jerrald Koerner and Joan Jackson; her son Mike Carr; grandchildren, Chelcey Burr and her husband Jeremy and their daughter Saphira, Brandon and his wife, Terrea Cram and Anthony Cram. Jan was a wonderful person and will be missed immensely.

A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be recited at 12:00 Noon on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at the St. Pauls Catholic Church, Nampa. A private family burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa
