Janice McNaught Obituary Janice I. McNaught, 81, of Nampa, passed away gently Monday morning, June 3, 2024 to her eternal home while at her earthly home in Nampa Idaho. Her verse for this year was 1 Peter 1: 8-9 "Even now he is bringing you a joy that words cannot express which has in it a hint of the glories of heaven." Time with those she loved were "hints of the glories of heaven." We are grateful all the family was together during the last precious days and hours and look forward to a glorious heavenly reunion. Jan was a wonderful encourager to many, always quietly pointing them to the truth, Jesus. She was Gracious and Giving. Artistic and Authentic. Silly and Supportive. Her roles were many over the years of being a Pastors wife. She led discipleship groups, taught new believer Sunday School classes, sang in the choir, spoke at Womens Retreats, hosted many dinners but above all, she loved on people. Jan and Ernie were married for 61 years and were together at her passing. They served the Lord faithfully together and loved their family well. Mom never wanted to be the center of attention. She made her wishes clear to her family that she did not want a memorial service and we are honoring that wish. To honor my mom, do what she did ~ Listen, truly listen when someone needs to talk. Tell your kids you are proud of them. Send a handwritten note in the mail to say, "Thank you, you are special!." Pray. Read your Bible. Talk to Jesus. Hug each other. Eat a cookie for dinner. Love one another. At her request there will be no service. Services No services to be held
