Obituary

Marie Jeanette Toolson, 89, of Nampa, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at Meadow Lake Village in Meridian, Idaho. She was born December 15, 1925 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to William and Elanora Powell. Jeanette attended schools in Idaho Falls leaving after her junior year to attend college. She graduated from Idaho State University with a B.S. in Pharmacy. She married Donald R. Toolson August 24, 1949 and made their home in Rupert, Idaho for 54 years. Jeanette was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Past President of the Altar Society, Past President of the Ladies Golf Association at the Rupert Country Club, and charter member of the Rupert Ladies Elks. She enjoyed swimming, playing bridge, golf, and wanted it said that she loved her children and grandchildren. In 2003 they moved to Nampa to be closer to their children and family. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Don; two sons, Donald (Kristi) Toolson, Greg (Tina) Toolson; one daughter, Ann Marie (George) Dahlinger; seven grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, William (Bill) Powell. Jeanettes parents and one granddaughter, Celeste Marie Toolson, preceded her in death. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, Feb. 6, 2014 at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Meridian. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Meridian with Father Len MacMillan celebrating.
