Jefferson who also went by Jeff or JW; was born on February 23, 1935 in Princeton, Texas, the son of James Edward and Vida Ardella Sirkel. He was born in a log cabin, during the great depression. This helped instill his hard work ethic, which he did most of his life. In 1954 he enlisted in the US Navy and completed his enlistment after four years. In 1961 he enlisted in the Air Force, remaining in the Air Force in service to his country and retired in 1978 as a TSGT. Jeff continued working until he was 80, retiring from Wal-Mart in 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna June; his daughter and son in law Tami and Fred Bergen; his daughter and son in law, Terri and David Mudd; his son and daughter in law Jeff and Maja Sirkel; his daughter Tracie Sirkel; and his son and daughter in law, Troy and Gena Sirkel; his stepsister Ruby Borzilleri; his grandchildren; Karina, Max, Zackary, Matthew, Dylan, Brent and his wife Tierra, and Millie; his great grand children, Tyler and Jace.
His parents, daughter and two granddaughters preceded him in death. Jeffs family was always his main focus in his life.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to any Veterans Charity of choice.
