Jeffrey Newell Obituary Jeffrey Charles Allen Newell, 47, of Nampa, passed suddenly on May 6, 2024, of natural causes.
Jeff was born September 25th, 1976, to parents Mike and Kelly Newell in Boise, Idaho. Jeff was a happy and active child who was always smiling and making others laugh. Jeff graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1994. He married in 1996 and welcomed his first child, Riley Newell in 1997 and his second child, Darby Newell in 2000. Jeff was immensely proud of his children, and proud to be a grandpa. Jeff found his professional passions in auto mechanics, and ultimately made that his career. He was so proud to have purchased Larrys Chevron in 2022 and to make that his legacy. Jeff was incredibly well known around the valley for his mechanical knowledge, skills, and the quality of his work as a master mechanic. Jeff valued his employees and thought of them as an extension of his family. He was an avid gun collector and loved to go shooting with his friends, he also enjoyed fishing and gathering with loved ones to barbecue. Jeff was the life of the party and brought joy to everyone around him.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Mike and Kelly Newell, children Riley Newell and Darby Newell (Dan Harjes), Granddaughter, Rosalee Newell and an unborn grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Roby (Courtney) Newell and their children, Meesh, Porter and Charli; Dustin (Charina) Newell, their daughter Delaney; Julie (JT) Waters, their daughters Keli, Brooklyn Leslie; and Kenzie (Sarah) Newell, their son Brooks as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, uncle Del Newell and aunt Kelly Newell.
A viewing will be held on Thursday May 16 from 6 8 PM at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Avenue South. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, 601 16th Ave South in Nampa on Friday May 17 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Kohler Lawn Cemetery, 76 6th St North in Nampa.
