Jennifer Ann Groven, 45, of Nampa, passed away of Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at the Real Life Community Church at the Nampa South Middle School. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Jennifer was born on May 31, 1965 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Richard and Susan Yoerk. She attended the University of Oregon in Eugene. She married Steven Groven on February 20, 1991. They have made their home in Nampa and Jennifer worked as the librarian at West Middle School in Nampa.

She was a member of the Nampa Lions Club and was an active football mom at Skyview High School.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Groven and her two sons, Zane and Gage of Nampa; a sister, Richelle McCarey of Connecticut; two brothers, Richard Yoerk of Illinois and Eric Yoerk of North Carolina; her mother, Susan Yoerk of Nampa; and her aunt Sarah Parten of Oregon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lukes Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
