Jimmy David Leslie, Husband, Dad, Brother, passed away on October 3, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. Jimmy was born on July 31, 1945 to Preston and Bobbie Leslie in New Mexico. He lived in New Mexico and later moved to California. Jimmy was in the U.S. Army serving from November 1965 to August 1967 during the Vietnam War. On March 1, 1969 he married Judith Handerson in Carson City, Nevada. In 1978 they moved to Nampa, Idaho where they made their home. Jimmy retired from the Sugar Factory in 2006 He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith; a brother Preston; a sister Dena; and children, Deborah, Rebecca, Teresa, Philip and Jason; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 siblings, Randy, Douglas and Jean; two daughters, Tamara and Melissa Joy. May he rest in peace. A funeral service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise.
