John Crawford Obituary John Dennis Crawford, 79 years old, passed away peacefully into Heaven on February 9, 2024 from Parkinsons Disease. John was born in Alhambra, California on March 21, 1944, where he spent his growing up years, attending local schools. After high school graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, serving 4 years in Texas and the Middle East. John is survived by his wife, Janet Van Dyk Crawford, daughters Deborah Touchette Langford (Stewart), Sharon Ruff (John), and son, Timothy Crawford (Stephanie). John Lived in Stockton 40 years while working in the trucking industry in the central California area his adult life. John moved to Paradise, California in 2016, was displaced to Nampa, Idaho after the Paradise Camp fire in 2018, where his son lived. His hobbies were working on various trucks and cars, his favorite being a 1955 Chevy. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle until his illness prevented riding. He attended First Baptist Church in Stockton, was active in mission groups that did work projects in Kodiak, Alaska and Costa Rica. He was also active in the local Gideons camp. A memorial service will be held in California in the spring. Services Services are to be announced
