Johnny Frank, 83, of Nampa, Idaho, went home to see Jesus on September 1, 2026.
Born in 1943 in Weiser, Idaho, Johnny grew up with a deep love for the outdoors. Above all else, he was a true family man who took immense pride in caring for those he loved. He was a skilled electrician and the proud owner of Carlon Sheet Metal, an HVAC company he dedicatedly operated for 31 years. When he wasn't working or spending time with his family, Johnny pursued his greatest passion: golf. An avid golfer, he could frequently be found out on the green perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of his fellow players at the clubhouse. He was also a talented athlete, spending 20 years on the mound as a softball pitcher, and he enjoyed occasional fishing trips. He will be remembered most for his quick wit, his strong work ethic, and the warmth and humor he brought to every family gathering.
Johnny is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years of marriage, Charla; his daughter, JoAnn (David); his son, Kevin (Wendy); his cherished grandchildren, Jason, Holly (Jake), and Alissa (David); his 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Irene Frank, and his 3 brothers, Roger, Virgil, and Eldon.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on September 12 at Crossroads Church, located at 4170 E. Amity Ave, Nampa, ID.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Love INC in Nampa online at loveinctv.org or by mailing a check to Love INC of Treasure Valley, P.O. Box 3404, Nampa, ID 83653.
