Joseph Paul Danenberg, 56, of Nampa, died Saturday, May 11, 2012 of a massive heart attack lead up to by health problems. Joe was an avid fisherman. He spent years on boats in Alaska and Hawaii commercially fishing. He served three years in the U.S Army as an Air Crash Rescue Firefighter and was recognized for his sharpshooting abilities. He was born in Dearborne, Michigan on September 24, 1956. He moved to California at a young age and grew up there. He later moved to Nampa, Idaho where he met his wife, Robin. Robin and Joe were together for nineteen years during which time they had two beautiful children, Cayla and Paul. Joe enjoyed everything about fishing, camping and anything outdoors. Joe truly loved his family and will be missed. Joe is survived by his wife, two children (Cayla, 17, Paul 15), four sisters, two brothers, and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service will be held with military honors at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. An online guest book may be signed at www.nampafuneralhome.com
