Joslyn Joy Wagner, 86, of Nampa, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at a Caldwell retirement center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So., Nampa. Burial will follow in the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.

Joslyn was born on October 11, 1926 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Clyde and Marie McLaughlin. She was raised and educated in Nebraska but moved with her family to Idaho while she was attending high where she graduted. She worked for the phone company for a while and in 1947 she went on a blind date and found her true love with Robert E. Wagner. They were married on September 26, 1948. They went on to have five children.

Joslyn worked in several areas of retail from groceries to clothing but was always considered a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, visiting and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by a brother, Larry McLaughlin of Eatonville, WA; her children, son Kirk (Cheryl) Wagner of Beaver, OR, daughter Laurie Oliver of Boise, daughter Sandra Wagner of Redmond, OR and son Jeff Wagner of Nampa; daughter in law, LaRae Wagner of Pocatello; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, a son Daniel R. Wagner, her parents and two brothers and two sisters.
