Obituary

Juan Lopez Obituary JUAN MARTIN LOPEZ, 54, was called by his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2021, surrounded by family and dear friends. Juan was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on August 23, 1967, to Juan de Dios and Mela Lopez. He was raised in Nampa, Idaho, and attended Nampa schools, graduating from Nampa High School in 1985. Juan was blessed with four children, Juan Jr., Lisa, Saul, Miestrella, and had the honor of being a father figure to Selena Martinez. Juan had many craft trades tile & marble work, auto detailing, classic car restoration, and auto mechanics. Juan was a member of the CLASSIFIED IDAHO car club and proudly represented with his 1976 Chevy Caprice. Juan loved being outdoors camping and fishing, going to classic car shows. Most importantly, Juan enjoyed spending time with his life partner, Soledad "Chole" Lopez, with his kids and his beloved grandkids, Jacelia, Angelita, Mela, Xavian, and Xavian II. Juan always had a wise crack in response to anything, even if the topic was serious. He always had a way of lightening heavy topics. Juan had a good heart, was strong in his faith, and didnt have a mean bone in his body. He touched so many hearts that he will truly be missed by all. Juan had a special friendship with Choles sons, Jesse Salinas, Jr. and Junior Sanchez; his lifelong friends Joel and Claudia Ortivez; and Clint and Lucy White. We all take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents, his beloved grandson, Xavian, and all of his family and friends who preceded him in death. We can all hear his Moms laughter from Juan teasing her now in Heaven. Juan is survived by his life partner, Soledad "Chole" Lopez, his sons, Juan Jr. and Saul (Veronica); daughters Lisa Lopez and Miestrella Lopez; grandkids Jacelita, Angelita, Mela, and Xavian II; his stepbrother, Greg Tallabas, and many relatives.
