Juana Cervantes was born on June 27, 1938, in Coahuila, Mexico, to Jose and Felicitas Guerrero. She was the eldest of eight children and was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, where she later met the love of her life, Martin Cervantes. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised six children: Josephine (Leslie), George (Katrina), Mary, Teodoro (Dani), Esmeralda (Deana), and Michael.

Throughout her early years, Juana worked alongside her husband and children as a migrant worker, traveling from Eagle Pass, Texas, to Weiser, Idaho. Eventually, they made Idaho their permanent home, where they continued to raise their family surrounded by love and hard work.

Juana devoted her life to being a homemaker and mother. She loved cooking and hosting big family gatherings where everyone enjoyed her delicious homemade tortillas. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her cooking—no one ever left her house hungry, or empty-handed she loved sharing small gifts.

She also found great joy in gardening, sewing, and crocheting. Her yard bloomed with flowers and vegetables that she nurtured with care, and her hands were rarely still. Above all, Juana's love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unconditional and endless.

Juana is survived by her six children, 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Cervantes, her grandson, Joe Cervantes and a nephew Santiago Guerrero.

Juana's legacy of love, family, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
