Juanita Teresa "Tere" Galindo Granados, 56, was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013. Tere was born on October 3, 1956, to Vicente and Mela Galindo in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. She was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas until her family moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1971 where she completed her education and established herself as a hard working person. In 1976, she married Juan Victor Granados, III. Her most treasured blessings were her children, Juan Victor IV, David Vincent, and Veronica Marie, and her grandson, Juan Victor V. Her nieces and nephews also brought great joy to her life. They always looked forward to their daily shopping sprees with her at Pauls Market, as well as their McDonalds "Happy Meals". Teres favorite past time was shopping for little trinkets to give to ALL of the kids in the family; and going to Jackpot, where she would never reveal her "winnings". One of her greatest gifts was the never-ending love and affection felt by her family. She loved all of her family and although she will be forever missed, we know that she will always be with us. Her family is comforted in knowing that she has now been rewarded for being a faithful servant to our Lord. She has truly been an example to those around her. She is survived by her children, Juan Victor IV, David Vincent, and Veronica Marie Granados; her grandson Juan Victor Granados V; her parents Vicente and Mela Galindo; her siblings Magda (Fernando) Martinez, Vincent (Rebecca) Galindo, Martin (Gladys) Galindo, Maria (Clayton) Charlesworth, and Lupe (Aimee) Galindo; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00 P.M. at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 17 at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Nampa. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
